How to learn a language fast?
Use FlashMyCards!

With Flash My Cards you can learn 1000 basic words in Spanish, Italian, German, or French. This amount of words is enough to communicate in a language.

Of course you won't be able to discuss serious topics such as philosophy or politics but knowing just 1000 words is enough to get the idea of what somebody is talking about and to communicate some basic things.

In other words with the set of 1000 most common words you can survive! So just pick the language you're interested in and start learning! With Flash My Cards it's fun and easy!

How it works?

1. With Flash My Cards you can learn basic words in Spanish, Italian, German, or French. Click on "LEARN NOW" and select the language that you'd like to learn.

2. Choose the category you are interested in.

apple

carrot

3. You'll see the first flashcard. Try to guess the word in the foreign language, then click on "SHOW ANSWER"- you will see how to write that word and you will hear how to pronounce it.

Say

4. If you want to listen to the word once again click on the button with notes below the flashcard.

5. If your answer was correct, click on the green button. If you were wrong or didn't know the answer, click on the red button.

6. If you click on "I KNEW", one of the three circles - near the top-left corner of the flashcard - will turn green. Three green circles mean that you've learned the word.

7. You can follow your progress in learning by clicking on the button near the top-right corner of the flashcard.

You will see there: the number of learned words, the total time spent on studying and a list of words with a tick or a cross .

The tick sign means that you've learned the word and the cross sign means that still you don't know it.

It's as simple as that! Good luck :-)!
